Note: It is technically possible to do the entire quest in one go provided you come with all the above items when you speak to Omar for the first time.
Starting Off:
Head to NPC Omar in Abukir. He is found in the south-west part of the city:
Mission 1:
To start off talk with Omar:
You can either purchase the mushrooms from players or source them yourself.
Red Mushrooms can be bought from NPC Northimbar in Garrogat for 12 gp.
Fire Mushrooms are easily obtained from Ember Beetles or by farming.
Wood Mushrooms and Dark Mushrooms can both be obtained from a Priestess; however, Ancient Golems drop Wood Mushrooms much more frequently. There is also a daily Dark Mushroom spawn in the troll cave east of the dwarven bridge, as well as in Deeper Vilias.
Once you have collected 1 of each of the 4 mushrooms requested (or if you came with them already), talk with Omar again to complete the first mission.
He will slightly lower the prices of food in Abukir.
Mission 2:
Speak with Omar again:
The 8 small sea animals in question are Shrimp. 4 shrimp can be found as a daily spawn in the slave town in Shakir upstairs in one of the buildings, they can also be fished, however they do have a low fish-rate (approximately 1/200).
Once you have the shrimp you can talk with Omar again to complete the second mission.
He will lower food prices in Abukir for you once again.
Mission 3:
Speak with Omar again:
Now you'll need to source 10 Frozen Hams. This will involve either killing Frost Dragons/Frost Drakes or buying them from a player.
When you have them speak with Omar again to turn in your mission.
He will slightly lower food prices in Abukir for you a third time.
Mission 4:
Speak with Omar again to commence the final mission:
Despite what the text suggests, you don't actually need to talk to any NPC's to continue; you simply need to obtain a Northern Pike and give it to Omar. This is easily obtained by exchanging 10 White Wool with NPC Erhard for it. The White Wool in question is easily skinned from regular white sheep (10%~) with a Hunter's Knife. It is also possible to catch a northern pike by fishing, however it is an extremely rare catch (1 out of several thousand).
Once you give Omar the Northern Pike, he will lower the food prices in Abukir for you one last time.
You can now buy food for lowered prices: ham for 6 gold each, meat for 3 gold each and fish for 3 gold each from Tibon and Anton in Abukir.
