Est. Max Damage:?
Immune To:Energy, Poison, Invisibility
Neutral To:Physical, Ice
Task:250 (Tylar Tasks)
Note:Summons two Tar Monstrosity and shoots spells from a distance. Very frequently uses its mana drain ability. The deadly bomb attack is a 3x3 field attack cast on the center of the target player which causes physical damage. It does not actually produce a field on the floor or some form of additional damage. Runs on low health. It is possible for both Tar Monstrosity to double life drain you which means the combo can be huge. A more standard single life drain + melee from each along with the priest itself would give an estimated maximum damage around 1260.
Strategy:These creatures are fairly strong due to their summons so it's recommended to hunt in teams consisting of a blocker and shooters. In some situations, the summons can be manipulated to prevent shield break on the blocker. If you can remove the summons by for example shutting them out the Tar Priest by itself presents a limited threat. Its own attacks are less threatening than a dragon so the biggest issue you'll have is your mana getting drained fast.
