- Oliver's Heritage
Mission 1
Ask Oliver for a mission. He tells you to find his old friend Sareil. You can find Oliver north west of the depot in Abukir:
You can find Sareil in the mountains north west from Abukir.
You will need to pass through the door which the key 7000 opens and walk along the mountain until you reach the desert north of the town of Abukir.
Go down a hole west of the stairs and keep walking west.
Once you find Sareil up on a mountain, tell him Oliver sent you.
He will tell you that people used to live on the corrupted island and that Oliver had ancestors living there.
He will ask you to find an old book from some grave connected to Oliver.
To be able to enter the corrupted island you will have to pass through some magic forcefield that Sareil set up to prevent monsters from leaving the island. Bring him 10 ember coins and he will put a charm on you to let you pass through the magic forcefield.
Next up you will need to talk to Sareil again and ask for a mission. He will ask you to search for a sand emblem that should be in a grave. Should the sand emblem be there it would verify that the old books he has aquired are correct. The grave is located on the north eastern part of the island close the manticore spawn. The graves are guarded by 3 corrupted spiders.
Find the sand emblem and return it to Sariel.
How to get from Sariels monastery to the corrupted island.
You will either have to kill or run past several corrupted spiders and giant spiders on the way:
Finding the sand emblem have proven the books authenticity. Sariel will now ask you to collect Olivers belongings in his ancestors old house and return them to Oliver. The items are 4 Small Rubies, a Golden Mug, Knight Legs, a Golden Sickle, a Stone Herb and 29 Platinum Coins; you can replace them if you happen to lose them, the Golden Mug can be purchased from Draculd if you have sufficient progress within the Lightbringer Faction.
Return to Sariel and ask him about a mission. He will thank you for returning the items to Oliver and tell you where your reward is. When he first visited the village he found a golden key (Key:7003). Since he will not be returning to the village again he wants you to have it. You will have more use for it.
The key will open a door to a demon spawn on the corrupted island.
