Novus Elf Cave Spawn and Clearing Information

Best Loot: Longsword, Elven Bow, Elven Tome, Yellow Gem
Creatures to Face: Bear, Rotworm, Wolf, Cave Rat,Nether Spiderling, Scorpion, Elf, Elf Arcanist.
What to bring:
- Pick.
- Honey Flower / Boxes.
- Rope and Shovel.
- Food and possibly Life Fluids.
- Plenty of Torch (unless you have night vision).
Bear, if you take the left ramp, make sure you have at least one bear targeting you and then go south-west behind some bushes where only one of them can attack you. This however can trap you so be careful and make sure you can kill a Bear.
Rotworm. Running directly south is the best idea as you can then quickly place your boxes or Honey Flowers down so you only have to fight one Rotworm at a time.
novuselfcave-2.png Rotworm Nether Spiderling Scorpion Elf Rotworm, followed near the end of the dirt area by several more Rotworm. Throughout the green area on the map you will find Nether Spiderling, although in the largest room with lots of red near the left side you will find a Scorpion! The easiest way to kill or trap the Scorpion is by luring it near the entrance of that room where you only require 4 boxes to block the Scorpionfrom moving. Then you can use spears to easily snipe it. The top right dirt area is blocked off by a large stone, although the top left dirt area is where you will find 3 Elf. It is relatively easy to kill them all if you allow one Elfto come to you and then block the passage way as it only needs 1 box.
Around the Scorpionspawn you can find many unique boxes that you cannot step onto. In the Elf spawn you can find some more boxes as well as a large trunk and Flute.
