| Note: | Burst arrows cause physical damage in a 3x3 square area so even if the shot misses the target will be hit. The damage is based on level and magic level of the shooter. Archers can create them with the Explosive Arrows spell. You can trade them with Ebarin on the upper floors of the Eschen imperial castle in exchange for Small Explosive Runes which are better suited for mages and druids. Burst arrow damage is drawn mostly from Magic Level, thus they are most efficiently used by Druids and Mages. The minimum damage of bursts used to be 0, and the maximum damage was calculated by this formula: level/3 + magLevel^(4/3). The formula was later changed, increasing the minimum and reducing the maximum but leaving the average the same, so you can still use this formula to calculate your average. |
