Players can more easily gain task kills when sharing experience in a Party. Normally, a task kill point would go to the player who deals the last blow to a creature, but when actively sharing experience, the task kill goes to the leader by default if the leader has that specific task active, otherwise it goes to the member who last hit it if they are on the task, if they are not then the task point is given randomly to one of the other members in the party who are on that task. Once one member is done with the task, you can pass party leadership to a different member so they can get task kill points instead. This is true for Hunter's Guild Tasks, Tylar Tasks as well as Faction tasks. |
