Field notes: Orc Shamans run when low in health. Rather weak magical orcs, inferior to Minotaur Mages.


Location: Edron Orc Cave, Hero caves and in Warlock room (in Hero Cave), Below Point of No Return in Outlaw Camp, Venore Orc Cave, Maze of Lost Souls, Orc Fort, north west of Thais in the tower with War Wolf, Elvenbane Middle Tower, South of PoH Temple (2 Spawns, with many other orcs)


Strategy: Unless you're surrounded by four or more of these orcs (in which case you just GFB), don't bother killing the snakes to avoid breaking your shielding, because an Orc Shaman attacks with Magical Damage so it will pierce your armor. Kill the Orc Shaman and the snakes will die instantly, then use Antidote or an Antidote Rune if needed.
Shamans do not push objects, so trapping them with parcels or flowers in a corner is a good idea if they annoy you when hunting stronger creatures.


Loot: 0-5 gp, Spear, Snake, Corncob, Chain armor, Staff, Chain Helmet, Blue Spellwand (rare), Orcish Tome (rare).
