This quest is part of the Patrician Outfit Quest, the reward is required to complete the outfit and has no other use.
In order to begin the quest. Go to the Abukir desert, you will need to go to a Hidden Tomb hidden below the sands.
The entrance to the tomb can be found by using a shovel to uncover a hole in the sand [here].
The correct sand square is the 16th square north of the sea from this exact position:
You will face several lesser undead and Gargoyles as well as some Tar Monstrosities and Banshees on your way to the quest room:
Once you're in the quest room, you will be surrounded by 4 Tar Monstrosities and 2 Banshees. It is recommended to go with a blocker, or run to a corner and try to kill the creatures one by one.
Once you've cleared the room, walk over to the east side of the room and collect the Tar Essence from the tar monstrosity corpse:
