RTENOTITLE What is Strife RTENOTITLE

Strife is a game-world meant for players to enjoy a PVP-enforced environment, meaning that when you kill a player on Strife,
you will receive experience points (with no frag limit or penalties).

The Strife game-world isnt permanent, it comes in seasons which last 3 weeks each (after which the world is reset).
Once the season is closed there will be a 2 week long break during which changes and updates will be made to the game-world according to player feedback.
Strife is hosted in either North America or in Europe, switching between the two each season.
When the season is over, the top 10 level players on Strife will each receive 50 Strife Points (check NPC Gefuin),
and the top 50 will all be transferred to the fast-paced game-world Pendulum.

As stated above, the goal of this game-world is to gain experience by killing players (with no frag limits of penalties),
you will only get the full amount of experience when killing higher-level players
, if your target is below your level you will not get the maximum amount.
However, this doesnt mean that you can't get experience from monsters.

  • Strife is meant to be a fast-paced game-world for players to advance quickly and join the PVP action,
thus the rates are as follows (compared to normal rate Medivia worlds):

        Experience:
        1 Level to 10 Level: 10x                               Skill: 4x
        11 Level to 20 Level: 7.5x                            Magic Level: 3x
        21 Level to 40 Level: 5x                               Regeneration: 2x
        41 Level to 60 Level: 4x                               Loot: 3x
        61 Level to 80 Level: 3x
        81 Level to 130 Level: 1.5x
        130+ Level: 1x (Medivian 1x)

  • The Find Person spell is modified in the way that it will
only vaguely describe the location of your opponent (e.g. "<player> is close by." ; "<player> is far away.").
It will however display the locations of guild members and party members,
as well as enemies affected with the Soulfire rune (until it runs out) - normally
    , as on other game-worlds.
  • Access quests for areas, trading NPC's and the Postman Guild have to be completed,
Green/Blue Djinn (Efreet or Marid Faction) and Royal Mailboxes(Postman Quest)access can be purchased with Strife Points.
  • Some doors that require keys on regular game worlds do not require them on Strife.
For the purpose of removing the need to waste time on key quests, the following keys were removed:
Abukir:Key 7000, 7001 (small Hydra spawn), 7003 (Corrupted Island), 7004 (Vigilantes' Hideout prison), 7007 (Vigilantes' Hideout entrance),
7009 (PoA UD), 7010 (PoA past purple flames)

    Forgula:Key 6033 (wall), 6044 (Forgula Necromancers), 6128 (Necromantica's Tomb), 6320 (Catacombs), 6322 (Catacombs opening tower)
    Garrogat:Key 6010 (Demon Hell)
