Part 1 - Language of the Gods

Talk to NPC Donnar found east of Abukir Depot (here Map.png). Talk to Donnar about his father Tempestas, then tell him that Tempestas is a God. He will tell you to seek out help in Yehsha, but speak to Donnar again about the Language of the Gods and then accept his quest by saying yes. Donnar will hand you a red book written by Tempestas.

Player: Tempestas
Donnar: Who told you about my father!? Most people do not even remember him. My mother did not like talking about him...
Donnar: All I know is that he was a castaway who lived in Abukir for about a year. Then he left the city and my mother without a word...
Donnar: I remember a fight between the towns wisest and Tempestas back then. The towns wisest did not trust Tempestas, saying he was no human...
Donnar: He never had proof and the towns people declared him crazy. After all, what else was he supposed to be?

Player: God
Donnar: What?! Tempestas... my father... a god? But the Omens!...
Donnar: I see... seven gods you say... interesting... very interesting indeed. All I have left from my father is a book in a bizzare language...
Donnar: He must have forgotten it before he took off. Could it be written in the language of the gods? We have to translate it...
Donnar: My men told me that there is a city called Yehsha, rulled by a pharaoh, to the east. The pharaohs must be able to speak the language of the gods, how else did they convince them to spread the plagues upon us?...
Donnar: Go and ask this pharaoh about the language of the gods.

Player: Language of the Gods
Donnar: Are you able to understand the language of the gods? Can you translate this book?
Player: Yes
Donnar: Here. Take and study it.

It is highly suggested that if you do not have access to Corrupted Island then you should speak to Oliver, north of Abukir Depot and bring 10 Ember Coins with you.

Part 2 - The Dead Man's Scroll

With this new information, you should head into the sunken part of Abukir city which unfortunately requires a long route to bypass the tar. You will be required to go through the mountain surrounding the city, pass a door requiring Key 7000 and head in a similar route to Wulkan. Once you reach the sunken part of the city you will need to flip a lever hidden behind some trees before heading below the surface. At the end of the route you'll find a skeleton containing the scroll required to move on.

Part 3 - The Seven Books

Now that you've learned that a survivor of Suffocent's vicious attack on the settlement has written books detailing the seven Gods, you must journey to find them in order to learn their weakness. There are seven books you must collect.

The Campfire Book
North Tar Priest Book
The Underpass Book (Lever for Underpass is in previous image - inside Stone Golems - part 10 and 11)
Vigilante Book
Sandskull Spider Book
Corrupted Island Book
Hydra Island Book

Once all books have been collected you can now begin The Plaguebringers of Abukir.
