Introduction
A promotion is a permanent vocation upgrade. As well as a new title, promoted players will have enhanced regeneration, a lowered death penalty and a new spell. Promotion can be bought from any Monarch ingame:
- Emperor Arsene of Eschen
- Baron Johann Ardlich of Thoris
- Emperor Thramril of Mittenhoff
- Yargoon of Yehsha
- King Ulf the Second of Garrogat
- King Rana de Tholos of Lucindel
Promotions cost 20,000 gp (20k) and can only be bought if these requirements are met:
- The account must have a premium status
- The character receiving the promotions must be a level 20 or higher
Benefits
A promoted character will receive a new title:
- Clerics will become Druids
- Warriors will become Knights
- Scouts will become Archers
- Sorcerers will become Archmages
Promoted characters will have a reduced death penalty. If a promoted character dies, they will lose 30% less experience and skills. Item drop rates are unaffected however.
Health and Mana regeneration rates are faster with promotions. The new rates are:
Note: Pendulum's regeneration rates are double these (Legacy has 2x regeneration)
Health Regeneration
- Warrior's hp regeneration will go from 1 hp every 6 seconds to 1 hp every 3 seconds
- Scout's hp regeneration will go from 1 hp every 8 seconds to 1 hp every 4 seconds
- Cleric's and Sorcerer's hp regeneration will go from 1 hp every 12 seconds to 1 hp every 6 seconds
Mana Regeneration
- Warrior's Mana regeneration will not change
- Scout's Mana regeneration will go from 1 Mana every 4 seconds to 1 Mana every 3 seconds
- Cleric's and Sorcerer's Mana regeneration will go from 1 Mana every 3 seconds to 1 Mana every 2 seconds
New Spells
Some vocations will be able to learn a new spell or 2 when they receive a Promotion.
- Warriors are able to learn the Challenge spell.
- Archers are able to learn the Conjure Power Bolt spell and the Last Resort spell.
- Druids are able to learn the Wild Growth spell .
