Method:
This article may contain quest spoiling information! Eike Take the stairs down in the Novus temple and say hi to Eike. Ask for his name and then proceed west and kill 10 Small Spiders. Conversation with Eike (1) Player: hi Eike: Finally Player, I was waiting for you. I hope you remember me, otherwise ask me for my NAME. Player: name Eike: I'm Eike, and I told you two weeks ago to clear my basement from spiders. Now don't waste your time and go inside. Kill at least 10 of them. Ask me for your MISSION when you come back. Return to Eike after you have killed the small spiders and ask him about mission. He will give you 15 gold and 60 experience and tell you to buy a Wooden Shield from Scott with it. Buy the shield and return to Eike and ask him about mission again. He now wants you to kill 10 Injured Rats. Conversation with Eike (2) Player: hi Eike: Hello Player. Player: mission Eike: Have you killed the spiders I told you? Player: yes Eike: Good, good. Beside that, monsters often hold some valuable items, so don't forget to loot them... Eike: To use an object in the game such as a sewer entrance, ladder, corpse or anything similar, you can right click or hold shift and left click. Go now and kill these injured rats! Return to Eike once you are done with the injured rats and ask him about mission. He will give you 25 gold and tell you to buy Leather Legs and a Leather Helmet. Once again go to Scott and purchase the items and return to Eike and ask him for mission for the last time. He will give you 60 more experience and send you to Amber to learn some basic survival skills. Eike will mark your map so you know where to find her. Eike: Now, find Amber, she is in the cellar of Seymours library. She will teach you everything. Also, if you don't remember what you should do next, check your quest log. It's the little chest icon on your toolbar on the upper left part of your screen. I will mark Seymours library library on your minimap. Amber Talk to Amber about mission. Go through the questdoor to the north east and use the chest to receive a Shovel. Use the shovel on the stone pile and jump down the hole. Open the chest to receive a Rope and use the rope to get back up again. Talk to Amber about the mission and she will give you 60 experience points and mark Sergeant Vaio on your map and tell you to talk to him. Conversation with Amber (1) Player: hi Amber: Oh hello, nice to see you Player. Player: mission Amber: Eike sent you for a training? Good. We should start right away... Sergeant Vaio Talk to Sergeant Vaio about mission and tell him that you are ready to fight and possess some basic survival skills. He now wants you to find Willie and gather information about him. Just follow the directions on your map and you will find him on the western part of town. Conversation with Sergeant Vaio (1) Player: hi Sergeant Vaio: Hello recruit! Now besides fighting.. a good soldier also knows how to gather valuable information. For that, I have another task for you... Sergeant Vaio: Find a man called Willie, I will mark him on your minimap. Try to gather as much information about him as possible, about his name, job and anything else. Ask Willie about his name, then about being a dealer. Conversation with Willie Player: hi Willie: Hiho Player. Player: name Willie: Willie. Willie the Dealer. No no no! I'm sorry, I didn't say a word! Player: job Willie: I am a farmer and a cook. Tell him that Willie is a dealer. Ask Sergeant Vaio about the crypt to hear the story about Falkenberg and how the new governor gave Falkenberg a ring which was lost. Sergeant Vaio will send you to retrieve the ring from Falkenberg's crypt. He will mark it on your map as well as give you directions to where you can find it. Conversation with Sergeant Vaio (2) Player: hi Sergeant Vaio: Hello recruit! Player: mission Sergeant Vaio: Oh, you are back. So what did you find out, what is Willie's job? Player: dealer Sergeant Vaio: This little village is driving me crazy. I will have to send soldiers now. Thank you for help, Player, I think you are ready for your first quest. Come ask me for Crypt if you have spare time. Player: crypt Sergeant Vaio: A long time ago there was a great hero in Novus, his name was Falkenberg. This famous warrior fought in many wars across whole Medivia, but he decided to settle down here in his last days... Sergeant Vaio: We were very proud because of this, and many of our secrets were told to him. A lot of keys and relics were held by Falkenberg, so that he protects them... Sergeant Vaio: Falkenberg got old and knew he was dying, so he gave back most of the items. Except for one very important ring... Sergeant Vaio: Two years ago our governor died because of massive disease, unfortunately six of his sons died in a great war. The seventh one, the youngest is luckily still with us... Sergeant Vaio: The tradition was each family member of the governor is granted with a special ring, this ring indicated his status as son of governor... Sergeant Vaio: Now the youngest son handed Falkenberg the ring because he was afraid he may lose it, and our hero simply forgot about it. Without the ring, the youngest son can't stand up as a new leader... Sergeant Vaio: Your mission will be to enter the Falkenberg crypt and recover the ring... Sergeant Vaio: You are well trained and you should manage, but remember to prepare yourself first, ensure you have all necessary items, food and that you are well rested... Sergeant Vaio: Good Luck, Player, I'm waiting for your return. The crypt is north of the village. If you leave the north gate and move south east, you'll see it. I will mark it on your minimap. Enter the crypt and follow the only way possible. When you reach -3 you have to flip the lever to make the stones disappear. When you reach the Spirit you tell it that you do seek passage and say the password falkenberg. After talking to the Spirit, walk east through the questdoor and go up one floor. Go to the north and click on the grave and then walk through the teleporter to the east to return to the temple. Return to Sergeant Vaio and report about the mission. He will reward you with a Leather Armor and 100 experience points. Conversation with Spirit Player: hi Spirit: Hi traveller. Do you seek passage? Player: yes Spirit: Only the worthy may pass. What is the password? Player: falkenberg Spirit: You may pass. Conversation with Sergeant Vaio (3) Player: hi Sergeant Vaio: Hello recruit! Player: mission Sergeant Vaio: You have it! Great! Now we can finally have a strong leader. Good job Player. I don't have any other mission for you. Keep fighting, training and working hard and maybe one day you will set your foot on the mainland of Medivia to pursue your personal goal... Sergeant Vaio: Take this armor as a reward. I know it's not much, but we are not Eschens professional army.
