Behavior: Ancient Scarabs chase the enemy and use deadly poison storms that can paralyze or poison players. They will fight until death, and can retarget.

Field Notes: Final stage of a Larva. They are almost as powerful as Giant Spider.

Location: Ankrahmun Library Tomb, Stone Tomb, most Larva Caves (-4)

Strategy: Do not try to hunt Ancient Scarabs solo unless you are high level. The best team consist of a mage and a knight. The knight lures 2 AS and the mage kills them off as fast as possible. If you kill them 1 by 1 a Knight with a Paladin can also be a nice group.
