It is currently the best helmet in-game. The helmet provides a small white light.
The Soul Emerald is obtainable as one of the rewards you can choose (out of three) after finishing the The Plaguebringers of Abukir quest.

The color of the HotFK can be changed at NPC Mazarin located in the Fiery Pit Tomb in a hidden pickhole, here.
The color can be changed to one of three (blue, purple or red) and it costs 100 Medivia Coins to do so.
You will need to ask him about his job then talk to him about an artifact and mention medivia coins.
The colour effect can be reverted for free so the helmet changes its colour to the original green by using the keywords revert effect,
although you will not get your Medivia Coins back.
