Minotaur Task
To complete this task you are required to kill 5,000 Minotaur. The reward is 250,000 exp and Key 8001.
The best area to complete this task is at Minotaur Hell where there are 7 total Minotaurs.
What you will need:
- Spear (Recommended) - The more you can carry the better
- Food (item)
- Possibly Life Fluid (Emergency)
- Honey Flower / Box (Recomended)
- Torch (For dragging loot back)
Why use Spears?
Spears cut through any defence a creature has meanwhile a melee weapon does not. For example, it takes myself approximately 1 minute to kill each Minotaur with Spears, meanwhile my Katana takes atleast 3. The only time you should ever use melee weapons against a Minotaur is is you are training your skills and are at a stage where you cannot train on weaker monsters.
Why use Honeyflowers / Boxes?
When you're first entering the spawn, there will be large amount of creatures coming towards you and little spaces to run, that's why you need atleast 1 of these items to block unnecessary attacks.
Why do I need Torches?
Having dragged a number of lootbags through the darkness of the entire dungeon, I can tell you it's possible and it's not that difficult although it is incredibly annoying not being able to see almost any of your screen and you're trying to drag a lootbag. As you can see in the pictures below, the 2 main floors of Minotaur Hell (The ones containing Minotaurs) have natural light spread through them, so it's not vital or even needed to use Torches for when you're hunting there.
The first step is to put every creature in the Wolf Maze to red health, although if you are low on food or are wanting to stock up, kill every Wolf except for the Orc (Leave it on red).
Now whenever you are low on food, go back to the Wolf Maze and clear the Wolves (Remember to leave the Orc on red).
Now when you go down the ladder to the floor above the final room, you will be faced with many Orcs, Wolves and two Minotaurs. Run upwards and one step to the right to find a spot where only two creatures can kill you at once. Remember to leave every monster except the Minotaurs on red, that way when you come back later you'll only have to fight Minotaurs.
