Introduction

The 81 Tasks offered are a unique set of hunting tasks customized for Medivia.
A task is there to foster the RPG gameplay in a special way.
Any task will eventually benefit you with a reward.
The reward may be gold, experience or a special item.
To complete the task, you have to kill a specific monster a certain number of times.

Various task lists

Medivia offers a couple different task lists. You can pick one task from each list at a time.
To take different task from particular task list, you must cancel or finish the currently active one.
Tasks from different lists can be active in parallel.
Some NPCs share the same task list.
Every task can be done only one time, no matter which NPC you started it with.
Tasks don't repeat on different task lists.

The most ordinary hunting tasks can be taken without any requirements (except money tasks).
You can accept and turn in these tasks in Eschen, Thoris, Arak or Mittenhoff.
NPCs in these cities share the same hunting task list.
It is possible to turn in or cancel such task in a city other than the one where you started it.
You can only have one task from this list active at a time.
Tasks that are rewarded with gold are only available to Premium players.

A different task list is available from Tylar, who lives in the Abukir mountains.
He gives hunting tasks related to Monsters living mostly in Abukir area.
Tasks from this NPC can only be turned in or canceled with him and not any other NPC.
You can only have one Tylar Task active at a time.

There are also Faction Tasks which are parts of the various Faction Quests from various NPCs.
As such it is not possible to simply take the tasks from the NPC.
You will have to get up to the correct mission before you can do them and you must complete them in order.
Faction tasks can be active in parallel - one task from each faction at a time.

Hunting tasks are also available as additional challenge for players who decided to stay on tutorial island Novus.
To begin such task you must have a Premium Account and be level 8 or higher.
Novus tasks are different to mainland tasks. In Novus you must do tasks in particular order.

At a time you can have active one ordinary task + one Tylar Task + one task from each Faction in parallel.

NPCs

There are currently three NPCs giving ordinary tasks.
Each of them share the same task list:

• Radek at Eschen

• Rulha at Thoris

• Baob at Arak

• Daguz at Mittenhoff

You can ask the guards for directions and mark Hunter's Outpost

There is also:

• Tylar close to City of Abukir who offers a different tasks than NPCs listed above.
  To get there check Route to Tylar.

• Seymour on the island of Novus.

• Many other NPCs who can give you task as a mission which is a part of particular Faction.

• Ordinary tasks (keep in mind this is one whole task list, you can only have one task active at a time):

Usable informations

• To complete the task and receive the reward you have to ask NPC about reward.

• If you cancel a task your progress is lost.

• YOUR summons can kill Monsters while YOU receive the kill.

• You can only complete a task once, they are not repeatable.

• You can see which tasks a player has done by looking up that player's character page.

• In team-hunting situation the rule follows: The one who gets the last hit earns the task point.

• If you forgot about your task, then you can always ask the NPC which task you're on.
  Say Hi / yes / Tasks, and a window will pop up.
  You can also check your current quests in the "task" area.
