Guide Introduction
Heya, few words before you start
It's Kopek, creator of vocation guides on wiki.
Keep in mind I created these having unexperienced players in mind, under level 200.
These guides are not made to show all or even the best possibilities out there.
I tried to show a path that is both comfortable and easy to follow for a newcomer.
The game has much more to offer than stuff listed below, go explore and have fun!

General Information
Vocation Choice
Knight is a tank vocation, melee fighter who lacks magic abilities
Great choice for unexperienced players as it forgives mistakes and is easy to learn
Good solo hunting but it is teamhunts that reveals its real potential
Vocation Statistics
Each level up Knight gains:
• 15 health points
• 5 mana points
• 25 oz. capacity
Health regeneration: 1hp per 3 sec
After Promotion: 1hp per 2 sec
Mana regeneration: 1 mana per 6 sec
After Promotion: 1 mana per 5 sec
Pros and Cons
Pros
• Forgives for mistakes.
• Biggest max health gain per level.
• Good for both solo and team players.
• Required for most quests and teamhunts.
• Cheap to level up and easy to profit.
• Comfortable to play without constant risk of dying.
Cons
• The lowest and inconsistent damage output of all vocations.
• Requires hours of skilling to deal decent amount of damage on lower to mid levels.
• No reliable instant healing spells, requires UHs to heal
• Relies on upgrading equipment more than other vocations.
Tips
Tips
• Buy Promotion as fast as you can afford it.
• Buy Boots of Haste as fast as you can afford them.
• Focus on skilling and skill only one type of weapon, it is really important to have decent melee fighting skill as it is your main way to deal damage.
• Always have opened few backpacks of UHs as it might save your life.
• On high enough level teamhunts are usually a lot better than solo hunting.
• Carry infinite light source on your arrow slot, such as Frozen Starlight or colored spellwands.
• Natural spawning Candelabrum never run out (unless you right click them), free infinite source of light you can find in any city.

Equipment
Usual path of upgrading your equipment, keep in mind that sometimes you can find
Attributed items that are better than these listed below.
Attributes are luxury, not necessity. It's great to have attributes on your equipment, but getting money for runes should always be your priority.
If you decide to get yourself attributes, focus weapon first, as it will have a lot bigger impact than any other piece of equipment.

Training
Basic informations
- You need to blood-hit your opponent at least once every 30 turns (60 seconds) to advance in melee skills as you keep hitting
- You advance your shielding skill getting hit by two monsters (twice per turn), anything over that doesn't matter
- You advance your fighting skills faster using one-handed weapons
- You should skill with as weak weapon as possible so you kill monsters slower
